San Diego has a new electronic festival, and it’s playing a ballpark. Temper debuts at Petco Park on Wednesday, December 30, 2026, with Zeds Dead, Sara Landry, Ninajirachi, G Jones, Whethan, and more than 30 acts across three stages. It is one of Zeds Dead’s last sets before the duo’s planned hiatus in 2027.
LED Presents, the San Diego promoter behind the OMFG!NYE New Year’s Eve festival, is producing Temper as a one-night mix of bass, techno, experimental, and club sounds. It runs 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is strictly 18+. Here is everything posted as of September 28, 2026.

Tickets
Tickets are sold through ShowClix (Leap Events), the official seller linked from the festival site. There are two kinds, and both get you into the festival, all three stages, and the lower bowl:
- Festival pass (GA Bowl): Open, unassigned seating in the lower bowl. No access to the field floor at the main stage. Tier 1 was $95 with fees as of September 28, 2026.
- Field pass (GA Floor): Adds floor access at the main stage. Tiers 1, 2, and 3 ($125, $135, and $145) had sold out, and Tier 4 was $155 with fees as of September 28, 2026.
All sales are final. The layaway option closed August 24. Your ticket name does not need to match your ID, but the festival cannot verify resale tickets, so buy from the official link.
Field or bowl?
This is the one decision that is unique to a ballpark festival, so here is the difference in plain terms. Pick field if you want to be on the floor in front of the main stage. Pick bowl if you would rather have a seat, a view from above, and a lower price. Both passes reach all three stages. The festival notes that most of the lower-bowl seating overlooking the field is covered, which matters in December.
Getting there
Petco Park sits in downtown San Diego between 7th and 10th Avenues, just south of J Street.
- Rideshare: The festival highly recommends it for the easiest arrival and exit.
- Parking: Several paid lots are near the ballpark, and many can be reserved in advance.
- Lockers: Available on site. The festival strongly suggests reserving one in advance.
What to bring
- ID: A valid U.S. driver’s license, U.S. state photo ID, U.S. or foreign passport, or U.S. military ID. DMV temporary IDs are not accepted.
- The right bag: Petco Park rules apply. Clear, single-compartment plastic bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a clutch or purse no larger than 5 x 7 inches. Medical and infant bags are allowed. Everything is inspected.
- Water bottle: Temper’s FAQ allows one empty plastic or Nalgene bottle, 32 ounces or smaller, and says free refill stations will be inside. No metal bottles. (Petco Park’s general concert rules are stricter on bottles, so check the FAQ again before you go.)
- Weather gear: It is rain or shine, and the festival suggests warm layers, ponchos, and boots.
- Prescriptions: In the original container, matching the name on your ID, and only what you need for the event.
What to leave at home
- CamelBaks and hydration packs. Not allowed at this venue.
- Umbrellas. Banned by Petco Park, even in the rain. Bring a poncho.
- Backpacks and large bags.
- Outside food and drinks, glass, and coolers.
- Selfie sticks, laser pointers, noisemakers, drones, and weapons.
The full list is on Petco Park’s prohibited items page. Smoking is allowed only in marked smoking areas.
Accessibility
Petco Park is fully ADA accessible, according to the festival. Guests with disabilities can use designated ADA entrances and ADA viewing areas, and can pick up an ADA wristband at Guest Services, which also allows one companion into the viewing areas. There are two Guest Services locations: near Hodad’s, and by the lockers across from the Lexus Lounge on the concourse. For help before the event or with entry, use the contact link in the festival FAQ.
Still to come
Set times and the festival map have not been released, and the festival has not posted a re-entry policy or payment details. The festival says set times will be announced on its social channels. The 824 Journal will update this guide when they arrive.
