La Mave is a Filipino R&B artist who put out his first track, “Milya,” in 2024, Billboard Philippines reported. Less than two years later, he was on the magazine’s list of 10 Filipino artists to keep on your radar in 2026.
The sound
GMA Network describes his music as a slow, romantic blend of R&B and hip-hop. He has told Billboard Philippines his influences include Mac Miller, Arthur Nery and Waiian, and that he grew up listening to the Filipino hip-hop groups Kartell’em and Bawal Clan.
The songs
His breakthrough was “Dominga,” a collaboration with Nateman released June 27, 2025. It caught on about four months later, debuted at No. 36 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, and peaked at No. 6 on the Top Philippine Songs chart. His solo single “Vibrate” followed onto the charts, rising to No. 44 on the Hot 100 and debuting at No. 25 on Top Philippine Songs. His song “West” has passed 1 million Spotify streams.
He released “Freedom” in October 2025 and “Kahit Umulan” with Waiian at the end of that month, both on NPS Music. In September 2026, GMA Network previewed his newest single, “Tuwing Umuulan.”
Why now
He is one of the newest names charting in Filipino R&B, and he has kept a steady pace since his breakout, with two EPs, Sirang Preno and Giliw, among his 2026 releases. He has not announced U.S. dates.
