Los Angeles and Orange County still have a deep bench of comic shops, even after a run of closures. This guide lists 48 of them: 38 in Los Angeles County and 10 in Orange County.
Each listing has the address with a map link, what the shop is best for, what it is known for, and a link to its website or Instagram when one is available.
Every shop was checked against its own site, 2026 listings and 2026 local coverage in September 2026. Shops that have closed are listed at the end. Hours change often, so check with the shop before you go.
How to Use This Guide
- Best for gives each shop one main strength: back issues and vintage, indie and small press, events and signings, tabletop and gaming, family-friendly, collectibles and toys, or manga and anime. Most shops do more than one thing.
- Signings and events marks shops that host creator signings or regular events.
