Downtown Ventura’s Winter Wine Walk and Holiday Street Fair is set for Saturday, December 5, 2026. Ticket holders sample wine at more than 70 pouring stations along Main Street, the street fair is free for everyone, and at the end of the night it snows on Main Street. On purpose.

The event is produced by CBF Productions, and proceeds benefit Food Share. Tickets are sold only through Fever, and the organizers say the walk sells out every year.

What’s on the menu

With a tasting ticket, you pick up a tasting cup and a map at check-in, then walk downtown Ventura sampling at more than 70 pouring stations. Visit Ventura’s listing describes the pours as wines, sparkling wines, and craft beers at participating downtown businesses. The specific wineries and pouring locations have not been named yet.

The Holiday Street Fair is the free part: hundreds of local vendors selling crafts and goods, plus food vendors, according to the organizers and Visit Ventura. Anyone can wander it, with or without a tasting ticket.

Getting there

The walk runs along Main Street in downtown Ventura, between Fir Street and Palm Street. Fever lists North Fir Street and East Main Street as the address. The FAQ says street parking is available. The organizers’ hotel partners are Crowne Plaza Ventura and the Amanzi Hotel.

Tips

  • Get there early. Check-in closes at 6 p.m. sharp, and there is no entry after that.
  • Wear walking shoes. The FAQ calls it a walkthrough experience with no seating (VIP ticket holders get seating in the lounge).
  • Pace yourself. Seventy-plus stations in a few hours is not a checklist. Eat something, and drink water between pours.
  • Leave at home: glass containers, professional cameras, drones, and weapons, which are on the FAQ’s prohibited list.
  • Plan the ride home. Book a rideshare or pick a driver before the first pour.
  • Weather: the event is rain or shine. If the forecast forces a cancellation, the organizers say they will email ticket holders.

Family notes

The Holiday Street Fair is open to all ages and free, so kids can come for the vendors, the music, and the snow. Wine tasting is 21 and over. Pets are not allowed, though service animals are welcome.

Accessibility

Fever lists the event as wheelchair accessible, and the FAQ says restrooms are available. For specific needs, contact Fever support through the ticket page or the organizers through CBF Productions.
