Scarium Family Night Turns the Aquarium of the Pacific Into a Halloween Hunt on October 23

The Aquarium of the Pacific opens after hours for Scarium Family Night on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The evening is built for kids in costume. There is a self-guided Halloween scavenger hunt through the galleries, trick-or-treating with goodie bags, kids’ activity booths and photo stations. A DJ plays through the night, and vampire magician shows are on the schedule.

Tickets

Tickets are $30.95 for general admission and $20.95 for members. Children under 3 are free. The aquarium asks guests to buy in advance.

Costume rules

Family-friendly costumes are encouraged, but full-face masks, toy weapons and flashlights are not allowed. All ages are welcome, and children must be with an adult 18 or older.
