Wasteland is back in San Bernardino. Insomniac’s hard dance festival returns to the NOS Events Center on Friday and Saturday, September 3 and 4, 2027, under a new name, Wasteland SoCal, now that an East Coast edition is planned for Orlando. The 2027 lineup has not been announced, but two-day passes have been on sale since September 11, 2026.

The festival is built for music at 150 beats per minute and up: hardstyle, hardcore, hard techno, and bounce. EDM Identity reported that the 2026 edition was the biggest yet, with a new three-stage format that brought Basscon together with Mutate and Unreal Germany. Here is what is confirmed for 2027, from the festival’s guide pages as of September 28, 2026.

The grounds also had Nomads Land, an area of art installations and interactive experiences.

  • Cashless. Credit, debit, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Android Pay. Cash can be exchanged for a prepaid card.
  • Lockers come with a universal phone charger and are big enough for a backpack.

Accessibility

The grounds are asphalt with accessible routes throughout. There is no pre-registration. Use the accessible entry lane, then stop at the Accessibility Services Hub, to the left after you enter, for a free accessibility wristband and one companion wristband. Accessible viewing areas are at designated stages, first come, first served, and mobility device charging is available at the hub. ADA parking is next to the entrance by the Pink Lots, first come, first served, and does not require a parking pass.
