Downtown Anaheim hosts its Fall Festival, Classic Car Show and Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The festival and car show run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the parade steps off at 7 p.m.

The festival sets up at Center Greens, the lawn next to Anaheim City Hall and the Downtown Anaheim Community Center, with the car show along Center Street. The daytime program includes costume contests, kids’ crafts, a scavenger hunt, live entertainment, local artists and food.

The parade

The parade marks Halloween, Día de los Muertos and the fall harvest. It starts at Anaheim Boulevard and Broadway, turns onto the Center Street Promenade, then heads down Broadway to finish at Broadway and West Street. Announcers call it in English near the car show stage at Lemon and Center Street Promenade, and in Spanish in front of CarPark 3. Watching from the route is free.

Local merchants started the fall festival in 1923 to steer kids away from Halloween pranks, and the parade was added in 1924, according to the festival’s history page. The featured photo shows the parade in 1950, courtesy of the Orange County Archives.

Parking and closures

Free parking is available in the Center Street garage and CarPark 3, and CarPark 4 is paid. Overflow parking at Anaheim High School opens at 5 p.m., about a 10-minute walk from the route. Expect road closures between 3 and 9 p.m., with no entry to or exit from City Hall parking during that window.
