The Sandy Liang Celisse collaboration takes a runway manicure straight to the shelf. Ribbon, a limited-edition pearly blue polish, is the shade tied to the designer’s Spring 2027 show at New York Fashion Week.
It sells for $24 through Celisse as part of its QuickCoat line.
The manicure on the runway
Sandy Liang’s Spring 2027 collection carried a “sporty princess” theme. Backstage, the nails were handled by Holly Falcone of Celisse, according to Bustle’s roundup of the season’s best nail looks.
Falcone painted pearlescent manicures in lustrous blues, whites and pinks. Bustle reported that the look took its cue from Versailles satins and moiré textures.
The effect was soft and reflective.
Why the shade is called Ribbon
Celisse says the name nods to a motif that runs through Liang’s world. Ribbons show up in her collections and on the ties of her shopping bags.
That detail turns a single bottle into a small piece of the brand. It also gives fans of the show a direct way to wear the look.
About Celisse
Celisse was created by Jessica Blumenthal with nail expert Holly Falcone. QuickCoat is its everyday polish range, built for easy at-home wear.
The Sandy Liang Celisse shade landed on Bustle’s list of the best beauty launches of September, which noted that it matches the Spring 2027 runway.
Nails at New York Fashion Week
Liang was not the only designer to put manicures in the spotlight this season. Bustle also highlighted milky-white nails with sheer pink bows at LoveShackFancy, cherry red polish at 7 For All Mankind and glossy, natural nails at Michael Kors.
