La Palma’s Free Halloween Carnival Returns to Central Park on October 24

The City of La Palma holds its annual Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Central Park, 7821 Walker St. Admission is free.

The city lists carnival games, costume contests, treats and giveaways. Food and drinks will be sold by the Kiwanis Club of La Palma.

Costume contests

Contests run every 15 minutes starting at 4:30 p.m.: Scariest Costume at 4:30, Funniest at 4:45, Most Original at 5, Best Duo at 5:15, Best Family or Group at 5:30 and Best Pet Costume at 5:45. Participants need to register at the Recreation Booth before their category begins.

Parking

The city directs visitors to the Community Center lot, the City Hall lot and the Edison right of way. Questions can go to the Recreation Department at 714.690.3350 or recreation@lapalmaca.gov.
