Gorjana Reidel and her husband, Jason Reidel, founded gorjana in Laguna Beach in 2004. The company is still headquartered there and remains privately owned and run by the founders, with Gorjana as chief creative officer and Jason as CEO.
The products
The brand is known for layering jewelry, including its Parker collection of necklaces. In 2020 it launched California Fine, a 14k gold and diamond fine jewelry line. Current best sellers on its site include the Wilder Shimmer Alphabet Necklace, Brooklyn Ring and Melrose Necklace.
Sports partnerships
In April 2025, gorjana became the official jewelry partner of the U.S. Women’s National Team Players Association. That August it formally launched the gorjana Sports Club athlete ambassador program, with members including Jessica Pegula and Cameron Brink of the LA Sparks, Glossy reported. The company opened its 110th boutique the same month.

The brand has a store at 190 Beach Street in Laguna Beach, plus stores at Fashion Island in Newport Beach and in Long Beach. Its store locator lists more than 130 locations nationwide.
