Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 through Kendo Brands, the LVMH beauty incubator. The brand is a 50/50 joint venture between Rihanna and LVMH, Reuters reported in October 2025, when it said LVMH was exploring a sale of its stake. In October 2026, TheGrio, citing Puck, reported that Jay-Z’s MarcyPen Capital Partners was nearing a deal for that stake. The deal had not been finalized in those reports.
The products
The brand’s best-known items include Pro Filt’r foundation, Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter and Fenty Treatz lip oil. Its sister line Fenty Hair launched in June 2024.
Recent drops
In July 2026, Fenty Skin released its first A$AP Rocky capsule, with a Lux Balm in coconut and Barbados cherry scents and a special-edition Hydra Vizor SPF 30, backed by an ad starring Rihanna and Rocky. This fall, Fenty Beauty also teamed with CASETiFY on a MagSafe holder sized for Gloss Bomb and Invisimatte powder.
Where to find it
Fenty Beauty sells at fentybeauty.com, Sephora and Amazon, and in Ulta Beauty at Target shops.
