Treats in the Streets returns to Old Towne Orange on Thursday, October 29, 2026, 4 to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Orange Plaza Traditions, which also runs the Orange International Street Fair, closes the streets around the historic Plaza to traffic so children and families can trick-or-treat on foot. The organizer lists trick-or-treating, games and Halloween activities.

Where it is

The event centers on Plaza Park. It generally extends along Chapman Avenue between Grand Street and Lemon Street, and along Glassell Street between Almond Avenue and Maple Avenue. Local businesses and organizations host booths that hand out candy and giveaways. It is a no-sales event, so booths do not sell products or food.

Parking

Public lots around Old Towne are open, including the parking structure near Lemon Street and Chapman Avenue, but space is limited and fees may apply. Accessible parking is on South Grand Street, just south of Chapman Avenue. Pets are not allowed in the event area. Service animals are permitted.

Guests can leave and come back during event hours. Questions go to Orange Plaza Traditions at info@optevents.org or 714-633-4816.
