Palisades Village Reopens With Violet Grey, LESET and Its Fashion Favorites Back

Palisades Village is open again, and its fashion and beauty shops are a big part of the comeback. The Pacific Palisades shopping center reopened on August 15, 2026, about 19 months after the January 2025 Palisades Fire forced it to close.

Developer Rick Caruso put more than $100 million into the restoration. Crews stripped damaged sections down to the framing and replaced walls, insulation and air conditioning after heavy smoke and water damage. The center reopened 99 percent leased.

Familiar stores are back

Roughly two-thirds of the previous tenants returned, according to FOX 11 Los Angeles. On the fashion side, that includes elysewalker, Zimmermann, Veronica Beard, Buck Mason and Anine Bing.

Elyse Walker’s return carries extra weight. FOX 11 reported that she opened a new store at the center after her flagship was destroyed in the fire.

“There was never any doubt that the Palisades would come back stronger than ever,” Walker said at the reopening, as quoted by the Beverly Press.

New beauty and style arrivals at Palisades Village

The newcomers give the center a fresh mix. Violet Grey, the beauty retailer, now has a home at 1052 N. Swarthmore Ave. It carries curated makeup, skin care, hair, body and fragrance.

LESET also opened in the village. Founder Lili Chemla started the label in 2019, and it is known for its T-shirts, including The Margo tee.

Fashionista reported that the store was designed by Phoebe Little to feel like a “dream closet,” with a storefront curtain that opens and closes each day. Chemla told the outlet she wanted to open stores “in places where we could really become part of the community.” A second, larger LESET store is planned for West Hollywood this fall.

A milestone for the neighborhood

“Today is more than reopening a destination,” said Corinne Verdery, CEO of Caruso. “It is a celebration of the spirit and future of the Pacific Palisades.”

Caruso was direct about the road ahead. “The opening of Palisades Village is one megastep in the recovery,” he said.

For neighbors, everyday errands like picking up a new lipstick or a favorite pair of jeans are part of that recovery. See more L.A. openings in Style & Beauty.
