The City of Los Alamitos holds its free Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 5 to 7:30 p.m., at Little Cottonwood Park, 4000 Farquhar Ave.
For families
Kids can collect candy at decorated trunk stops, play carnival games for prizes, and take a turn in the moon bounces or on a spooky train. The park will also have a sensory activity area and vendor booths.
A free pumpkin patch lets children pick a pumpkin while supplies last.
Costume contests
Contests are split by age, with groups for ages 0 to 3, 4 to 7, and 8 to 12, plus categories for families and pets.
Good to know
Admission is free. An adult beverage garden supports the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. MemorialCare Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Long Beach is the title sponsor, Southland Credit Union is the presenting sponsor, and Grocery Outlet Long Beach Wardlow is a gold sponsor.
