The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lakewood Station hosts its Trunk-or-Treat and Haunted Jail on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. The station is at 5130 Clark Ave. in Lakewood.

Admission is free. Some attractions and games require tickets, which are sold on site.

By age

The City of Lakewood says adults and older children can explore the haunted jail. A spooky maze is set up for children 6 and younger. Kids are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.

The night also includes food and displays of first responder vehicles and public safety equipment. The city calls it a Halloween-themed community event for all ages.

Parking

The best parking is at the south end of Civic Center Drive, near the vacant lot and the Angelo M. Iacoboni Library. Visitors enter on foot through the rear gate on Civic Center Drive.
