A free Kids’ Halloween Festival comes to Bixby Park, 130 Cherry Ave. in Long Beach, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. Children are encouraged to come in costume.

Activities

The schedule lists a bag decorating craft, a pumpkin decorating craft, a skull toss and other Halloween games, and photo spots. A kids’ costume parade and contest closes out the afternoon with prizes.

Who is hosting

Several neighborhood groups put the festival on together: the Alamitos Beach, Bluff Park, Bluff Heights and Rose Park neighborhood associations, Friends of Bixby Park, and the office of Vice Mayor and Second District Councilwoman Cindy Allen. The Port of Long Beach is a sponsor.

Earlier that day, Goblins on the Greenbelt runs 1 to 3 p.m. in Belmont Heights.
