The City of Cypress will hold its Holiday Sing and Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 1, at 6 p.m. on the Civic Center Green, at the corner of Orange Avenue and Grindlay Street.
Students from local schools will perform as the city kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of its tree.
For families
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for visits. Kids can take train rides, play games and work on holiday crafts. There is also a table for writing letters to Santa and cards for veterans.
The city provides hot chocolate and cookies while supplies last.
Before you go
Seating is festival style, so the city recommends bringing chairs or blankets. Free parking is available in the Civic Center lot.
