La Palma holds its annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. Santa’s Village opens at 4:30 p.m., and the ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m.
The evening is hosted by the city’s Community Activities & Beautification Committee and sponsored by the Kojani Real Estate Group.
For families
Students from La Palma schools perform before the tree is lit. Mr. and Ms. Claus arrive ahead of the ceremony so children can visit with them, and the city lists arts and crafts and a letter to Santa station.
Parking and rain date
The city lists event parking in the Community Center lot, the City Hall lot and the Edison right-of-way. If it rains, the ceremony moves to Wednesday, December 9, 2026.
