Brian Hill founded Aritzia in Vancouver in 1984, and he remains founder and executive chair. The company trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange and sells its own labels, including Wilfred, Babaton and Tna.

The products

The Super Puff puffer jacket is the brand’s best-known piece, and the Effortless Pant is another staple.

Growth

Aritzia opened 14 boutiques in its 2026 fiscal year, launched an app and moved its Manhattan flagship to the Flatiron district, the company reported in May 2026. It had 146 boutiques as of October 2026 and expects to open 11 to 12 new U.S. boutiques this fiscal year.

In Southern California

Aritzia opened its first Los Angeles flagship at Westfield Century City in April 2017, Time Out Los Angeles reported. In Orange County, it has a boutique at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

Where to find it

Aritzia sells only through its own boutiques, aritzia.com and its app.
