Los Angeles Magazine has named its Best of Beauty 2026 winners, the fourth edition of its annual list of products, people and professionals shaping beauty in the city.

The list went live on September 2. The magazine then celebrated the honorees on September 15 with a poolside event at Cameo Beverly Hills that drew more than 300 guests.

Best of Beauty 2026 winners with L.A. roots

The list mixes global names with businesses that are part of everyday Los Angeles. Several local winners stand out.

  • Juan Juan Salon in Brentwood was named Iconic L.A. Salon.
  • Lucy Hart Ink in Studio City won for microblading.
  • Swissa Med Spa, with locations in Calabasas and Beverly Hills, won in the med spa category.
  • Hol’Up, a pomade made in Los Angeles, won Vegan Pomade.
  • Clayton Hawkins, a hairstylist and L.A. native, was among the professionals honored, along with plastic surgeon Dr. Safa Sharabi.

Familiar names from the L.A. beauty scene

Several brands well known to L.A. beauty shoppers also made the list. Summer Fridays won for its Lip Butter Balm. Tower 28 took Rescue Mist for its SOS Rescue Spray. Rare Beauty won Day-to-Night Lip Color for its Soft Pinch Lip Oil Stick, and Rhode won Cream Blush for its Pocket Blush.

Kate Somerville’s Goat Milk Soothing Body Lotion won Body Lotion. Saie’s Glowy Super Gel won Glowy Serum.

Patrick Ta Beauty, the brand from the celebrity makeup artist, won Best Dual Blush Product for its Major Headlines Double-Take Crème and Powder Blush Duo.

Prestige and drugstore picks

The winners cover every price point. Chanel, Clarins, Prada Beauty, Valentino Beauty, YSL Beauty and Armani Beauty sit on the same list as Garnier Fructis, La Roche-Posay and Tarte.

That range is part of what makes the list useful for readers. It works as a shopping guide whether the budget is a drugstore run or a department store counter.

Inside the celebration

At Cameo Beverly Hills, guests moved through brand activations and product sampling. Summer Fridays co-founders Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Ireland took part in the interview programming, according to the magazine.
