PALM BEACH, FL. Lori Flynn, author of romantic psychological thrillers, has released her latest novel, “The Best of Friends,” the second installment in the Delaney Shea Trilogy. The suspenseful tale blends romance, danger, and psychological tension.

The novel follows bestselling author Delaney Shea as she prepares for her Christmas wedding to FBI Special Agent Jordon Burke, the man who rescued her from a serial killer. But the joy of the season is overshadowed by a chilling presence: Allison Marsh, a superfan determined to infiltrate Delaney’s life. From a copied hairstyle to unsettling proximity, Allison’s ultimate plan is far more sinister than friendship. Delaney’s survival may depend on unlikely allies, including Puck, her fearless Czechoslovakian wolfdog.

“People are not always who they seem to be. They often hide their true nature, especially if they’re delusional,” Flynn says, summing up the novel’s central theme. The book explores the unsettling lengths someone will go to in order to live someone else’s life.

Flynn, a South Florida resident born into a large New York Italian family, draws on her own experiences with mental illness and the resilience it takes to overcome its challenges. She is also the author of Absolute Recall, I Love You to Pieces and You’re My Favorite. The trilogy will conclude with Child of Mine.

“The Best of Friends” (ISBN 9798950391613) is available through major retailers, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The paperback retails for $21.95 and the ebook for $2.99.
