The Phoenix Club’s Oktoberfest runs Saturdays and Sundays for four weekends, October 3 through 25, 2026, at the German-American club’s home in Brea. If you remember it in Anaheim, you are a few years behind: the club moved after its 2022 festival, and this is its third Oktoberfest at 375 W. Central Avenue.

It is a smaller, club-run party with German bands, Schuhplattler dancers, stein holding, and a kids’ day on Sundays. The catch is logistics. Tickets are online only, parking needs a voucher, and there is no street parking. Here is what to know, from the club’s site and ticketing page as of September 28, 2026.

Who’s playing

The club is bringing back its Oktoberfest favorites, one band per weekend:

DatesBand
Oct. 3 and 4Da Stubebuben
Oct. 10 and 11Hazelnuss Band
Oct. 17 and 18Da Stubebuben
Oct. 24 and 25West Coast Prost

Die Gemütlichen Schuhplattler perform on Saturdays and Sundays. On Sundays, the club’s Youth Dance Group and the Prinzengarde also perform. There are beer drinking and stein holding contests, and the club encourages guests to wear their Oktoberfest attire.

Tickets

Buy on the club’s TicketSpice page. There are no ticket sales at the door.

  • General admission: $25, plus a $1.90 service fee. Anyone over 11 pays the adult price.
  • Kids 11 and under: $10 plus a $1.37 fee, Sundays only. Children need a ticket.
  • Limits: up to 10 tickets per order with one parking voucher.
  • No refunds unless the event is cancelled by a government order, and then the ticket price is refunded minus a $2 fee.
  • Saturdays are 21+, and ID is checked at the gate.

Getting there and parking

This is the part to plan. On-site parking is free but requires a parking voucher, which you can only get with a ticket purchase, one per order, until they run out. The club says that without a voucher you will be turned away from the lot because of city restrictions, and there is no street parking. The club asks guests to use rideshare as much as possible.

House rules

The club says it is a smaller event, so it has a few house rules worth knowing:

  • No seat saving and no tablecloths.
  • Cup stacking outside only.
  • Bring your stein if you like, but it must go in empty and come out empty, and it will be checked.
  • No outside food or drink, including water bottles.
  • Bags are checked. Weapons, laser pens, fireworks, skateboards, bikes, scooters, hoverboards, and skates are not allowed. If security finds something, you can take it back to your car or toss it.
  • Smoking and vaping only in the designated area outside in the parking lot.
  • No pets or emotional support animals. Only service dogs as defined by the ADA.

Payment

Bring cash. The ticketing page says credit cards are accepted but not Apple Pay, and that cash is faster. The Sunday ticket description is stricter, saying cash only except at the main bar and food. There are no ATMs on site.

Family notes

  • Sundays are Family Days and the only days kids can come. Saturdays are 21+.
  • There are crafts and activities for kids, and the Youth Dance Group performs Sundays.
  • No strollers because of space limits. A limited number of high chairs are available.

If you want a meal without the party

The club’s Bierstube restaurant is open only Thursdays and Fridays during Oktoberfest (11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, with the kitchen closing an hour earlier), with a special menu. It is closed Monday through Wednesday. Regular hours return October 29.

A little history

The Phoenix Club was founded in Anaheim in 1960 to preserve German culture, customs, and language, and it bills its party as Orange County’s longest-running Oktoberfest. The club was displaced from its first site in 1990 by construction of what is now the Honda Center, and it held its last Anaheim Oktoberfest in October 2022 before moving to Brea, according to the OC Independent.

Accessibility

The club has not posted accessibility details for Oktoberfest. It describes the event as an expanded indoor and outdoor setup. For questions, call the office at (714) 563-4166 and leave a message; the club says it will call back.

Still to come

The club has not published a food menu or beer list for the festival grounds. The 824 Journal will update this guide if it does.
