Mission Bayfest 2026 Guide: Rebelution, Kolohe Kai, The Offspring, and Three Days on Mission Bay

Three days of reggae, island music, and SoCal punk on the edge of Mission Bay. Mission Bayfest runs Friday through Sunday, October 16 to 18, 2026, at Mariner’s Point Park in Mission Beach, with Rebelution headlining Friday, Kolohe Kai on Saturday, and The Offspring closing the weekend on Sunday.

The festival comes from the team behind San Diego Bayfest, and the City of San Diego’s special events calendar called last year’s edition the fourth annual. Tier 4 tickets were on sale as of September 28, 2026. Here is what the festival has posted so far.

Tickets

Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, linked from the festival’s tickets page. Tiers 1 through 3 have sold out, and Tier 4 is on sale. Check Ticketmaster for current prices.

  • 3-Day Pass or single-day Friday, Saturday, or Sunday passes.
  • VIP: Expedited entry, a barricaded VIP-only pit at the front of the stage, a separate VIP area with couches and umbrellas, a 6-foot viewing platform, VIP restrooms, and $2 tacos.
  • SMKFLWR Platinum VIP: Everything in VIP plus a hosted bar, food by Billy Butters, backstage access, side-stage viewing, a platinum entrance with golf cart transport, concierge service, and curated merch. Quantities are limited.
  • All sales are final. The festival is rain or shine, and tickets are not transferable under its terms.
  • Hotels: Discounted room links are on the festival’s hotels page.

Getting there

  • Free parking: The Hospitality Point dirt lot, across the street from 1840 Quivira Way, with a free shuttle to the gate.
  • Rideshare: There is a rideshare area in front of the entrance. Set your drop-off to 3119 Mariners Way.
  • Bus: The 8 bus connects Old Town with a stop near the festival on Mission Boulevard at West Mission Bay Drive.
  • Bike: A well-lit bike parking area is set up in the Bonita Cove East parking lot, next to the rideshare zone.

Inside the gates

  • Cashless. Come with a card or phone.
  • Water: Empty refillable bottles are allowed. No outside food or drinks, including bottled water.
  • Lockers can be booked for one to three days through the festival’s information page.
  • First aid tents sit opposite each stage, and medical staff roam the grounds.
  • Lost and found is just inside the front gate.

Still to come

Daily gate times, the bag policy and prohibited items list, and on-site accessibility details have not been published. The festival says set times will go up on its social media the week of the show. The 824 Journal will update this guide as those details arrive.
