Holo Holo Music Festival is returning to Waterfront Park on the San Diego bayfront on Saturday, July 17, 2027, for a one-day island and reggae festival. The lineup is not out yet, but the first round of tickets, called Mahalo pricing, is already on sale through Tixr, starting at $36.42 before fees for general admission.
Holo Holo comes from Good Vibez Presents, the producer behind the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey. The festival started in 2022 at Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University and has since added stops including Las Vegas, Sacramento, and San Diego. Here is what is confirmed for the 2027 San Diego date, from the festival’s general info page and ticket page as of September 28, 2026.

Who’s playing
Not announced yet. Good Vibez Presents describes the festival as a showcase for island and reggae music. Dan Sheehan, the company’s co-owner, grew up in Ewa Beach on Oahu and has said island music and reggae were the soundtrack of his childhood. Expect the bill to stay in that lane when it drops.
Tickets
Tixr is the only official seller. The festival says it cannot guarantee tickets bought anywhere else. Mahalo prices listed on September 28, 2026:
| Ticket | Before fees | With fees and taxes |
|---|---|---|
| General Admission Mahalo | $36.42 | $48 |
| VIP Mahalo | $115.85 | $133 |
| GA Mahalo 4-pack | $111.17 | $143 |
- VIP includes VIP viewing areas with their own bars and restrooms.
- Military and first responder discounts are offered through GOVX after you verify eligibility.
- All sales are final. Tickets are for the festival, not for a specific artist, so a lineup change is not grounds for a refund.
- Your wristband is your ticket. If you lose, remove, share, or damage it, it cannot be replaced, and you would need a new ticket.
Bringing the keiki
Holo Holo is set up for families, with a few rules worth knowing before you buy:
- Kids 3 and under get in free.
- Children 4 to 10 need a child pass.
- If a parent buys VIP, any child over 3 needs a VIP ticket too.
- Strollers and diaper bags are allowed. Wagons are not.
- Outside drinks are not allowed, except milk or formula for babies.
- For pregnancy, nursing, or pumping needs, the festival asks you to email Access@GoodVibezPresents.com.
What to bring
- Proof of your ticket and a government-issued photo ID. Both are on the festival’s required list.
- A credit or debit card. The venue is cashless.
- A clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches. A small non-clear clutch is allowed but gets extra screening.
- A blanket or lawn mat. Chairs are not allowed.
- Non-aerosol sunscreen. It is a July day on the bay.
- A point-and-shoot camera with a lens under 2 inches.
- Medical devices such as medication coolers and walkers.
What to leave at home
- Chairs, tents, pop-ups, canopies, and umbrellas.
- Backpacks and purses bigger than the clutch limit.
- Cigarettes and vapes. Waterfront Park is a smoke-free county park, and vaping is banned too.
- Metal water bottles, glass, and coolers of any size.
- Outside food and drinks. The festival says food vendors will have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.
- GoPros, selfie sticks, tripods, drones, and detachable-lens cameras.
- Chains, chain wallets, and spiked jewelry.
- Pets. Trained service animals only, and they must be verified at Guest Services.
Getting there
Waterfront Park sits on Pacific Highway next to the San Diego County Administration Center, along the bay in Little Italy. The festival’s general info page encourages alternate transportation and allows bikes, and it points to a carpool booking link rather than listing festival parking. Box office hours for wristband and ticket pickup are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and everyone in your group has to be there to get their wristbands.
Accessibility
There is an ADA entry lane next to the main entrance for guests with disabilities and one companion, and an accessible viewing area at the stage, first come, first served. The grounds are grass, flat but uneven in places. Limited ADA parking is available on site with a valid placard. Requests for ASL interpretation and other effective communication services are due by June 17, 2027. Questions go to Access@GoodVibezPresents.com.
