The City of La Habra holds its annual Veterans Day program on Wednesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. The ceremony takes place at the La Habra Community Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd.
The program honors people who are serving in the military now and those who served before.
Who organizes it
The program is run by the La Habra Veterans Committee, which American Legion Post 267 of La Habra co-organizes. The committee formed in 1998 to plan programs that recognize local service members and veterans.

The city keeps a collection of photos of La Habra veterans, past and present. Residents can drop off a copy at the Community Center or send a high-resolution scan of at least 300 dpi. Photos dropped off during office hours are scanned and returned right away.
