Hellfest West is coming back for a second year, and it is moving to Pomona. The hardcore and metal festival takes over The Fox Theater on Saturday and Sunday, February 20 and 21, 2027, with Between The Buried And Me, Sleeping Giant and Life of Agony leading a 27-act bill. Two-day passes are on sale now.
Hellfest held its 2026 summer edition in Jackson, New Jersey, and its West Coast spinoff debuted last February at The Observatory in Orange County. Here is what has been posted for 2027 so far, from the festival’s ticket page and the lineup announcement as of November 2, 2026.

Who’s playing
The bill splits between progressive metal and metalcore on one side and a deep run of hardcore punk on the other. Day-by-day assignments have not been released, so here is the full lineup in the order the festival announced it.

The anniversary sets
Five acts on the bill are tied to a milestone, which is the closest thing to a theme this year. Between The Buried And Me is celebrating 25 years. Life of Agony is celebrating River Runs Red, Winds of Plague has Decimate the Weak, First Blood has Killafornia, and American Me has Heat. If one of those records lived in your car stereo, that is your set to plan around.

The Fox Theater sits on Garey Avenue in downtown Pomona, in eastern Los Angeles County. The show is all ages, and the ticket page lists a 12 p.m. start for the weekend.
What last year looked like
The first Hellfest West ran Friday and Saturday, February 20 and 21, 2026, at The Observatory in Orange County. Trustkill Records announced that edition, and its bill included The Path of Resistance, Mindforce, Disembodied, Turmoil and Shattered Realm, per Scene Point Blank. That was last year’s lineup, not this year’s.
