The Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach holds its 50th annual Fall Faire and Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 18, 2026, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1601 E. 16th Street.
Entry is free, with donations welcome at the gate. Activities inside carry small fees that support the center’s environmental education programs. The Faire is the ENC’s largest fundraiser of the year.
The Environmental Nature Center Fall Faire for families
The Craft Crawl costs $5 per child and includes a reusable bag and a hand stamp good for five crafts along the trails, led by ENC Nature Preschool teachers and volunteers. There are also nature games and a pumpkin patch in the Log Area near the Top of the Stream, with live music from the Sweetwater Creek Band.
The Fire Circle Stage lineup so far includes Reptile Rendezvous at 10:30 a.m., an insect talk with ENC naturalist Ryan at 11:30 a.m. and the OC Troubadours at 12:30 p.m., with more acts to be announced.
Food
SavorOC brings local restaurants including Bluewater Grill, SOHO TACO, Zov’s, Zaab Thai and Mountain Mike’s Pizza. The ENC is running it as a zero waste event and asks guests to bring their own cup, plate and utensils. Anyone who brings a full set is entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate.
Members and parking
ENC members get an early pumpkin patch preview on Friday, October 16, 2 to 5 p.m. An online auction runs October 13 through 3:30 p.m. on October 18. Parking is tight, and the center suggests walking or biking if you live nearby.
