Coachella is back on the polo fields in April 2027, with Weekend 1 on April 9 to 11 and Weekend 2 on April 16 to 18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The dates are locked. The lineup is not. As of September 28, 2026, Goldenvoice has not released the 2027 poster.
The advance sale on May 1, 2026 is over, and both weekends now show a waitlist on the official site. Here is what is confirmed so far, plus the planning basics from the festival’s FAQ, so you are ready when the lineup drops.

Who’s playing
Nobody, officially. Goldenvoice has not announced a single act for 2027. For reference, the 2026 lineup was released on September 16, 2025, and Pollstar reported in April that the 2027 lineup would come sometime between September 2026 and January 2027.
On September 1, 2026, Consequence relayed a report from the industry newsletter Hits Daily Double saying Tame Impala and Dua Lipa were expected to headline, with Fred again.. in talks for a return. Treat that as a rumor until the poster is out. The festival has not confirmed any of it.
Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G headlined in 2026. The festival itself dates back to 1999, when Goldenvoice held the first Coachella at the same Indio polo grounds.
Weekend 1 or Weekend 2?
Same lineup, same grounds, different week. The practical differences are price and timing:
| Weekend 1 | Weekend 2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Dates | April 9 to 11, 2027 | April 16 to 18, 2027 |
| GA advance tiers (May 2026) | $599, then $649, then $699 | $549, then $599, then $649 |
| VIP advance price (May 2026) | $1,299 | $1,249 |
| Mail delivery address change deadline | February 17 | February 24 |
Prices above are the advance-sale tiers Pollstar reported in April 2026, before fees. Weekend 2 was $50 cheaper at every tier.
Tickets
Passes are sold only through the festival’s official AXS links on coachella.com. The May 1 advance sale sold through, and the site now offers a waitlist for each weekend. A few rules worth knowing before you buy anywhere:
- Three-day passes only. Coachella does not sell single-day tickets. Passes are good only for the weekend printed on them.
- Limit of eight passes per weekend per order.
- Payment plan: $49 down at checkout, a flat $55 fee with no interest, and equal payments through January 2027. Your wristband does not ship until the plan is paid in full.
- Delivery: Wristbands ship by UPS for $16 per order. International buyers can use Will Call.
- All sales are final. No cancellations, transfers, or exchanges, and wristbands are non-transferable once put on.
- Hotel packages: Sold through 100X Hospitality. They bundle three or four nights with GA or VIP passes and shuttle passes.
Camping
Camping passes are sold separately from festival passes, and every camper needs a festival pass too. The official options for 2027:
- Car camping: 10 x 30 foot sites, one vehicle per site. A powered version adds an electrical outlet.
- Ready-Set Tent Camping: A 10 x 15 foot site for up to two people, with the tent, air mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, a light, and a lock already set up.
- La Campana: Larger temperature-controlled tents with real beds, for two to four people.
- Lake Eldorado: Wood lodges for two or safari tents for four.
- Group camping: A minimum of 10 spots, with a deadline of March 1, 2027.
Camping is 18 and over unless you are with a parent or legal guardian. RVs and motorhomes are not allowed.
Getting there
The Empire Polo Club sits on Avenue 51 in Indio, in the Coachella Valley. The festival’s advice is simple: carpool, or take the shuttle.
- Shuttles: Run by Valley Music Travel. Shuttle lines stop one hour after the music ends.
- Rideshare: There is a dedicated rideshare lot. It closes at 3 a.m.
- Transit: The nearest train and bus stop is in downtown Indio, about three miles from the venue.
- Parking: There is no Thursday parking unless you have a camping pass. Cars left in day parking after 2 a.m. are towed.
What to bring
These rules come from the festival’s current FAQ, which was written for 2026. Goldenvoice usually refreshes it before each edition, so check again in the spring.
- Bags: Backpacks, purses, and fanny packs are fine as long as the fully packed bag fits in an 18 x 13 x 8.5 inch box, about carry-on size.
- Water: An empty plastic bottle up to 64 ounces, or an empty hydration pack. Refill stations with filtered water are free. Metal and glass bottles are not allowed.
- Sun: Non-aerosol sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Parasols are allowed within the size limits on the FAQ; umbrellas are not.
- Something to sit on: Blankets and towels up to 50 x 70 inches.
- Ears: Earplugs are on the allowed list.
- Cameras: Non-professional cameras only.
- Little ones: Strollers for infants and toddlers are allowed.
What to leave at home
The full list is long. The ones that trip people up most often:
- Chairs, tents, tarps, and umbrellas in the festival grounds.
- Aerosols, including spray sunscreen.
- Signs, flags, and totems. The FAQ also bans anything held up on a pole or pool noodle.
- Chains and chain wallets.
- Professional cameras, video cameras, selfie sticks, tripods, and drones.
- Outside food and drinks, coolers, and glass.
- Bikes, scooters, skateboards, and wagons.
- Pets. Service animals only.
Inside the gates
- Register your wristband. Registration in the Coachella app is mandatory, under your own legal name. Wear one wristband only, or the scanners will not read it.
- Cashless. The festival accepts mobile wallets and contactless cards, and there are cash exchange stations if you only have cash.
- Late nights. The FAQ puts the music ending around 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and midnight on Sunday.
- Lockers and charging lockers can be rented on site.
Accessibility
Coachella has an accessibility page and an accessibility line at (888) 226-0076 (for access needs, not ticketing). Service animals are welcome. Personal mobility devices are allowed for ADA guests, and the campgrounds have ADA shower trailers and accessible lockers.
