Downtown Huntington Beach hosts the Surf City Spooktacular on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2026, along Main Street.

The Downtown Huntington Beach business district lists the Spooktacular among its signature events and says Main Street will be transformed for the night. Visit Huntington Beach, the city’s tourism bureau, says the event includes trick-or-treating and a costume contest.

Before you go

Organizers have not posted a start time, a contest schedule or admission details yet. Check the Downtown Huntington Beach events page closer to Halloween for hours and any street closures.

Main Street runs inland from the Huntington Beach Pier at Pacific Coast Highway. Families staying in town that day can also find center-wide trick-or-treating at Bella Terra.
