The Petersen Automotive Museum on Museum Row has more than a dozen exhibits running this fall, covering movie cars, motorcycles, dirt-track racers and more. A few close before the end of the year, so it helps to know what is on the calendar.

Closing soonest

  • Made in America, through Dec. 27, 2026
  • Legends of the Dirt, through Jan. 18, 2027
  • Performance & Prestige, through Feb. 27, 2027
  • The American Motorcycle, through March 7, 2027

The headline shows

A Fast & Furious Legacy marks 25 years of the film franchise with cars from the series and runs through April 4, 2027. It sits naturally beside the museum’s permanent Cars of Film & Television gallery.

World’s Fastest, through Aug. 22, 2027, focuses on speed. Other current exhibits include World-Class (through April 25, 2027), Flat Out (through July 5, 2027), Transatlantic Lines (through Feb. 27, 2028) and Driven by Possibility (through July 30, 2028). How We Roll has no listed end date.

In the Vault

The Vault, presented by Hagerty, is the museum’s underground collection of more than 300 vehicles. Two shows are running there now: A Legacy of Excellence: Masterpieces from the Mullin Collection, which opened July 18, and Jeff Zwart: Life at ZwartSpeed, through June 13, 2027.

Families can also use the permanent Discovery Center and the Forza Horizon 6 Experience.
