The Corita Day Festival takes over SCI-Arc in the Los Angeles Arts District on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. The afternoon celebrates the pop artist and educator Corita Kent, and the organizers say it is open to all ages.

SCI-Arc is at 350 Merrick Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

What’s planned

The schedule lists hands-on art-making stations for all ages, a DJ set by Novena Carmel, host of KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, live music by The Hollow Trees and a performance by Bob Baker Marionette. Partner organizations will build Corita-inspired box tower murals, with workshops led by Desiree Sanchez. Food, drink and merchandise vendors will be on site.

Tickets

Admission is free, and guests are asked to register in advance through the Corita Art Center’s event page. A paid supporter ticket and donations are also offered to help cover the event.

Getting there

Parking near SCI-Arc is limited, and the organizers recommend rideshare or public transportation.
