Anaheim Community Services hosts Day of the Dead: A Night of Community & Culture on Friday, October 30, 2026, starting at 5 p.m. The free event takes place at the Downtown Anaheim Community Center, 250 E. Center St., and the neighboring Center Greens Park.

What to expect

The city’s community calendar lists altar displays, live performances, food, and activities for all ages. The listing files the night under art, dance and cultural programs.

Día de los Muertos is observed on November 1 and 2 to honor loved ones who have died. Altars, or ofrendas, often hold photos, marigolds, candles and the favorite foods of the people being remembered.

Plan ahead

The city has not posted an end time or a full performance lineup. Check the community calendar listing before heading out for any updates.
