The Novo

Venue Profile

Los Angeles, CA · 2400 capacity · Indoor · Updated September 2026

The Novo is a mid-size concert venue on the L.A. Live campus at 800 West Olympic Boulevard in Downtown Los Angeles. AEG owns the room and Goldenvoice books it. It opened on November 8, 2008, as Club Nokia, with Beck playing the first two nights, and was renamed The Novo in March 2016.

The building cost about $80 million and holds roughly 2,400 people, with a general admission floor and seating on upper levels. Its bookings cover indie and alternative rock, hip-hop, metal, K-pop and electronic artists, along with comedy and anime-related events.

The Novo shares its address with the GRAMMY Museum and sits across from the Peacock Theater, so parking and foot traffic depend on what else is happening at L.A. Live. Pico station on the A and E lines is the nearest rail stop. The venue publishes an accessibility line, (888) 226-0076, for accommodation requests.
