The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever
The Masonic Lodge is a small hall at the entrance of Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Santa Monica Boulevard, beside the Paramount Pictures lot. The building dates to 1927, and the cemetery now uses it for concerts, author talks, live podcast tapings, storytelling nights and screenings.
The lodge holds about 150 people, so shows here tend to feature indie, folk, experimental and singer-songwriter acts in a quiet setting. Larger concerts move outdoors to the cemetery’s Fairbanks Lawn during the warmer months. The October 2026 calendar includes a three-night run by Geese on the lawn and a string of lodge shows through the winter.
Tickets for popular events are often capped at four per buyer and are non-transferable, so check the listing before purchasing. Events are posted on the cemetery’s own calendar, and the grounds also host a Día de los Muertos celebration in late October.
