The Coach House
The Coach House is a concert club on Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano that has booked shows since 1980. With about 400 seats, it is a dedicated concert room in south Orange County for touring acts too big for a bar stage.
Its history includes performances by B.B. King, Miles Davis, Bonnie Raitt, Pat Benatar, Tori Amos and Devo, and in 2019 it hosted a benefit for surf guitarist Dick Dale. Current bookings mix veteran rock and metal artists with country, blues and tribute shows; the fall 2026 calendar included Geoff Tate, Orianthi, HammerFall, Benmont Tench and Ty Herndon.
Dinner is served, and tickets and dinner reservations are handled through the box office phone line. Tickets are often cheaper when paid in cash at the venue than online. Doors for most shows open at 6 p.m.
