Swallow’s Inn

Swallow’s Inn is a country roadhouse bar on Camino Capistrano in downtown San Juan Capistrano, a short walk from the historic mission. It advertises live music every day of the week.

Most bookings are country and rock bands, with afternoon sets (2 to 6 p.m.) on weekends and late shows (9 p.m. to 1 a.m.) on Friday and Saturday. Weeknights add country dancing with lessons, line dance classes on Tuesdays and karaoke on Wednesdays; early October 2026 bills included the Working Cowboys Band, the Lonnie Dawson Band and the Bravo Whiskey Band.

The bar opens at 8 a.m. daily and runs happy hour on weekday afternoons and all day Monday.
