Silverlake Lounge

Venue Profile

Los Angeles, CA · Indoor · Updated September 2026

Silverlake Lounge is a small bar and music room at 2906 Sunset Boulevard, at the corner of Sunset and Silver Lake Boulevard. It first drew crowds with drag and burlesque performances, which still run on some nights.

The booking company The Fold later made the room a center of the Silver Lake indie scene. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Local Natives, Tame Impala and Cold War Kids have played its low stage, and Silversun Pickups took their name from the liquor store across the street. The old Salvation sign outside has since been replaced with an arched Silverlake sign.

The bar is open every night except Monday, and its calendar mixes local and touring bands with DJ and club nights. The room is dark and compact, and it has the look of a neighborhood bar as much as a club. Parking is on nearby side streets.
