Rose Bowl Stadium
The Rose Bowl is an open-air stadium in the Arroyo Seco on the west side of Pasadena. It opened in October 1922, is a National Historic Landmark, and has a current all-seated capacity of 89,702. It is run by the nonprofit Rose Bowl Operating Company.
Besides UCLA football and the annual Rose Bowl Game, the stadium is one of the region’s largest concert venues. Karol G drew more than 115,000 fans across her August 2023 dates and Coldplay more than 136,000 in 2023, and recent bookings include AC/DC and Oasis in 2025 and Guns N’ Roses in September 2026. The stadium is scheduled to host soccer, including both gold medal matches, at the 2028 Olympic Games.
A fundraising campaign launched in 2024 is paying for renovations planned for completion before the Olympics. For concerts, check the stadium’s event page for parking lot assignments, bag rules and shuttle options before arriving.
