Permanent Records Roadhouse
Permanent Records Roadhouse is a bar, stage and record store at 1906 Cypress Avenue in Cypress Park. It opened in 2019, run by the team behind the Permanent Records shops, and the room holds 98 people.
The bar books garage rock, punk, psych and indie bands along with DJ sets, and its fall 2026 calendar includes Permanent Records 20th anniversary parties, an afternoon show by Vacations and recurring music trivia nights. A record store in the former garage sells new and used vinyl on the same property.
The bar is 21 and over, and a valid government-issued photo ID is required at the door. The bar is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight, and the record store opens at noon daily. Street parking is available on Cypress Avenue and nearby residential blocks.
