Irvine Bowl

Venue Profile

Laguna Beach, CA · 2600 capacity · Outdoor · Updated September 2026

The Irvine Bowl is the 2,600 seat outdoor amphitheater on the Festival of Arts grounds in Laguna Canyon, just inland from downtown Laguna Beach. It is best known as the home of the Pageant of the Masters, the living pictures show that has been staged there since 1946. The current stage dates to 1953, with parts rebuilt in the 1990s after flood damage.

Outside the pageant season the bowl books a small number of concerts. Jack Johnson played two nights there in November 2025, and the Coast Film and Music Festival’s Concerts in the Canyon series scheduled Rainbow Body, Ben Harper and Amos Lee for October 23 through 25, 2026. During the summer festival, the grounds also host weekly music series, including tribute, throwback and Southern songbook nights.

Because concerts are occasional, check the Festival of Arts site and individual promoters for current dates.
