Hotel Ziggy (Backbeat)
Hotel Ziggy is a music-themed boutique hotel on the eastern end of the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. It opened in April 2022, takes its name from David Bowie, and decorates its halls with music memorabilia and legal documents about who owns songs.
Live music takes place at Backbeat, the lobby venue, and the pool hosts DJ-driven pool parties. The anchor series is We Found New Music, a weekly showcase for emerging artists hosted by Grant Owens, and the calendar lists other events as they are announced.
Showcase nights are 21+ and free with an RSVP through Eventbrite. The hotel’s restaurant, Pizza Girl, serves food all day in the lobby, and The Shred Shed lends guests guitars, amps and other gear.
