Honda Center
Honda Center is the city-owned arena on Katella Avenue in Anaheim’s Platinum Triangle, across the street from the ARTIC transit center and a short drive from Angel Stadium. It opened in June 1993 as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, and Barry Manilow played the first event. The building took its current name in 2006 and is home to the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.
For concerts the arena holds up to about 18,900 people with a center stage and about 18,300 with an end stage, and it can also be curtained into a smaller theater layout of about 8,400 seats. U2, Beyonce and Madonna have all played here, and the arena has become a regular Southern California stop for K-pop and Latin tours alongside rock, country and pop acts.
General parking in the surrounding lots and garages is included with event tickets, and the arena is cashless inside. Bags are limited to 5 by 9 by 2 inches for concerts, and backpacks are not allowed. OCVIBE construction has permanently closed Douglass Road between Katella Avenue and Stanley Cup Way, and the arena’s Honda Center Encore renovation is expected to affect parking, entries and concessions through 2027, so check the parking map before you go.
