The Hermosa Saloon is a neighborhood bar at Pacific Coast Highway and 2nd Street in Hermosa Beach. It opened in 1975 and calls itself the city’s original neighborhood bar.
Bands play Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and cover rock, classic covers and local indie originals. The rest of the week includes trivia, bingo, karaoke and televised games, and bands can apply to play through the bar’s booking page.
The saloon is 21 and over. It has 14 rotating beer taps and a cocktail list but no kitchen, so guests are welcome to bring in outside food.
