Doll Hut

Venue Profile

Anaheim, CA · 89 capacity · Indoor · Updated September 2026

The Doll Hut is a small roadhouse bar on Adams Street in Anaheim, in a building that dates to around 1922 and once operated as the Sunkist Cafe. Linda Jemison turned it into a live music room in 1989 under the name Linda’s Doll Hut, and through the 1990s it became a key stop in Orange County’s punk scene, with early shows by The Offspring, Social Distortion, the Adolescents and The Ziggens.

After Jemison sold it in 2001 the bar went through several owners and formats. Punk booking stopped in 2012, the room briefly became a Latin bar, and it reopened in 2014 under Michael McGarvey and Tammy Butler with punk and rock booking restored. A 2016 documentary covers its history.

Capacity is 89 people, so popular shows sell out. Shows are 21 and over, and parking is limited to a small lot plus nearby streets. Tickets for many shows are sold online through the venue’s event page.
