Campus JAX
Campus JAX is a restaurant and supper club on Campus Drive in Newport Beach’s airport area, close to John Wayne Airport and UC Irvine. It serves California Cajun food and pairs dinner with a steady calendar of live music, and it has run for more than ten years.
Ticketed evening shows cover jazz and rock tributes. The fall 2026 calendar included Cheryl Bentyne of The Manhattan Transfer, a Foreigner tribute, a Jim Morrison tribute, and a Rolling Stones tribute, plus a Thursday jazz series. The free JAX SongStage showcase features local singer-songwriters on select Tuesday evenings, and Jukebox Wednesday, on the last Wednesday of each month, takes song requests from the crowd.
Most shows are early, starting between 6 and 8 p.m. The club is closed Mondays. The City of Newport Beach has commended it for supporting the local arts community.
