Back Bay Amphitheatre at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach
The Back Bay Amphitheatre is the outdoor stage at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach on Jamboree Road, near Upper Newport Bay. It hosts the hotel’s long running Summer Concert Series, which runs roughly from June into early November and was presented in 2026 in a newly renovated amphitheatre.
The series leans toward contemporary jazz, R&B and soul, with some classic pop and rock. The 2026 season included Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, Boney James, War, Brian McKnight, Chris Isaak, Todd Rundgren, and Thomas Dolby with Wang Chung. Earlier seasons featured artists such as Kenny G, Boz Scaggs and Sheila E.
Tickets come as general admission, reserved season seating or group Skybox packages, and parking is bought as an add-on. Personal cameras are fine but flash and video are not. The hotel restaurant offers dinner before shows, and ADA requests should go through the series contact form at least two weeks ahead.
