Aviator Nation Dreamland Malibu
Aviator Nation Dreamland is a restaurant, bar and concert room on Pacific Coast Highway across from Malibu Pier, operated by the Los Angeles apparel brand Aviator Nation, which also runs a Dreamland venue in Nashville. The company describes the Malibu site as a revival of a 1970s music venue, and the address is the longtime home of the Malibu Inn.
The calendar combines weekly jazz nights and local performers with ticketed shows by touring acts. Recent and upcoming bookings include Phantom Planet, J. Roddy Walston, Bobby Alu, Allah-Las, Boombox and Elohim, along with occasional DJ sets.
Food and drinks are served during regular hours. On show days the room closes at 5 p.m. for soundcheck and reopens for the performance, and tickets are sold through Tixr. Check each event listing for age limits.
