Alvas Showroom is a 99-seat performance room on West 8th Street in San Pedro. The small hall is arranged like a miniature amphitheater, so every seat is close to the performers.
The calendar covers jazz, blues, folk, world music and tribute acts, with shows most weekends through the fall of 2026. The South Bay New Orleans Jazz Club meets here on the second Sunday of each month.
Alvas has no bar. Guests may bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks, and coffee, tea and water are provided. Parking is free. Seating is limited to about 99, so buying tickets ahead is sensible for popular shows.
