Andrew McMahon: Three Pianos in Long Beach

Andrew McMahon brought The Three Pianos tour to F&M Bank Amphitheater in Long Beach, California, on August 22, 2026. McMahon delivered a visually dynamic live performance built around piano-driven rock, audience interaction, and the energy that defines his career.

Photographed by Zharmaine Boatman for The 824 Journal, this editorial concert photography gallery captures the artist at the piano. It shows performances across the stage, connections with the crowd, and some of the night’s most memorable moments.

From dramatic stage lighting to the giant inflatable duck moving through the audience, the photographs capture the production’s scale. They also reveal the personality behind the performance.

About Andrew McMahon

Andrew McMahon has recorded under three names across roughly twenty five years: Something Corporate, the piano rock band he started as a teenager in Orange County; Jack’s Mannequin, which he formed in the mid 2000s; and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, his current project.

The piano stays at the center of the writing in all three. “Cecilia and the Satellite,” written for his daughter, became his widest reaching single under the Wilderness name. He also founded the Dear Jack Foundation, which supports adolescent and young adult cancer patients.
